Installation steps:

1. It is necessary to inspect the rearview mirror, determine the cause of the malfunction, and test the condition of the lens adjustment motor by powering it on

2. Disassemble the rearview mirror lens by pulling the mirror up at an angle and then prying it from the bottom up with a plastic prying tool to separate the lens from the adjustment motor (be careful as the lens is fragile)

3. Disassemble the rearview mirror housing (Note: The clips on the housing need to be pried from the inside out with a plastic prying tool to loosen the surrounding clips and create a gap. Then, use the plastic prying tool to pry from the outside to separate them)

4. Pull out the harness of the rearview mirror adjustment motor, remove the old motor, and replace it with a new one,

5. Perform a power-on test and adjust the motor to its normal operating condition

6. Assemble the rearview mirror accessories in order, and then start the car again to verify the motor's working condition
